Safe student travel — here's how we make it work
Travelling as a student comes with real concerns — for you and for your parents. Ghumi Ghumi is built around addressing those concerns without taking away the experience.
What every Ghumi Ghumi trip includes
- Certified trip leader — Every group travels with a verified trip leader who is responsible for the group throughout the journey.
- Structured itinerary — You know where you're going, when, and what's happening. No last-minute chaos.
- Organised group travel — You travel with other verified students, not strangers. The group is the safety net.
- 24/7 response access — Emergency contact is always available during the trip.
The Parent Portal
The Parent Portal is an optional feature students can choose to share with their parents. Depending on the trip, parents can access trip details, the itinerary, and trip leader information.
It's designed to give parents enough visibility to feel comfortable — without turning the trip into a surveillance exercise. Students get the freedom to travel. Parents get the reassurance they need to say yes.
For female students
Many of our travellers are young women navigating parental concerns around overnight or out-of-city travel. Ghumi Ghumi's organised group model, certified trip leaders, and transparent itineraries are designed to make student travel more accessible — including for students who face additional restrictions at home.
