After wrapping up our final semester exams, our college gang wanted water, great food, and unhurried mornings. Flying south into Kochi, we traded textbook stress for slow-moving houseboats drifting through Alleppey’s maze of green canals and coconut palm lagoons.
Days were spent cycling through quiet coastal villages, cheering at local canoe boat races, and eating hot parottas and spicy curry on fresh banana leaves. Ghumi Ghumi’s student-first travel model meant our group bonded naturally with university travellers from across India. It was safe, affordable, and the exact celebratory send-off our graduation crew deserved.
